The Mirage Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal frontage
of beach, headland and parks extending for kilometres north and south.
The beach has a patrolled swimming area provided by the Alexandra Headland Surf Club.

On any day, visitors can enjoy watching the surfers, or better yet join them.
There are many places to sign up for surf lessons and rent boards. For the skaters and bikers, there is an outdoor skate park right alongside the beach. Also provided are picnic and barbecue facilities, so why not enjoy lunch on the BBQ with the family.

Travelling time from the Airport to The Mirage Alexandra is estimated at between 1 hour and 1 hour and 10 minutes. From the Brisbane Airport, travel along Airport Drive for aprox 2-3 km. Follow the Sunshine Coast signs to take a right at the round about leading to the highway. This Connects to the Bruce Highway in about 25km. Continue on and take the Sunshine Motorway exit, then take the Mooloolaba Rd exit. Make a left from Mooloolaba Rd onto Pacific Tce. Left onto Alexandra Pde then a left into Mari St.

Fraser Island
Separated from the mainland by a narrow channel, Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. Fraser Island is World heritage listed and almost the entire island is a protected National Park. Accommodation ranges from motel units to houses and flats. On the mainland, the city of Maryborough and township of Hervey Bay provide both a stepping off point to Fraser Island and are worthwhile destinations in their own right.

Maroochydore
(Maroochy to the locals) is just north of Brisbane, Australia. It is in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, and has numerous attractions, beaches, rivers, and rainforests.

Mooloolaba
Mooloolaba stretches from the Sunshine Coast to Point Cartwright and provides excellent shopping, exquisite restaurants and cafes. The magnificent beaches are great for fishing, surfing, and yachting. There are 30 kilometers of beaches from Bribie Island to Kawana Waters.

Noosa, Noosa Heads, Noosa Beach
Noosa is a haven for visitors and includes the popular Noosa Heads and Noosa Beach. It is well known for its trendy restaurants and cafe scene. Visit the exclusive boutiques for an exciting shopping outing. Most accommodation offers spectacular views over Noosa and its waterways, and blends charmingly into the hillside.

Peregian Beach
A casual drive south from Noosa along the coastal David Low Way offering breathtaking ocean and beach views. The exclusive Castaways and Marcus beaches are located right in the middle of this 18 kilometre stretch of beach.

Aussie World
No matter what your age you're guaranteed of a great time at Aussie World. They've got rides and games for children of all ages. And for the grown ups ... a real Australian icon. The Ettamogah Pub has been part of recent Australian folk-lore thanks to the talents of one of Australia's favourite cartoonists - Ken Maynard.

Australia Zoo

The Big Pineapple
The Big Pineapple in glorious Nambour offers a day of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Just one hour easy drive north of Brisbane, on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. Visitors to the plantation are greeted by a 16m high, fibreglass Pineapple.

Eumundi Markets
Situated in the heart of the town of Eumundi is the original Eumundi Markets which were established in 1979. View artworks and sculptures by local artists. Taste home-made lemonade, freshly baked breads, locally grown produce and fresh seasonal fruit.

Underwater World
Discover the creatures of the deep at Underwater World, the largest tropical Oceanarium in the southern hemisphere. UnderWater World is located adjacent to Mooloolaba Beach on the Wharf complex, Parkyn Parade, Mooloolaba, Queensland.
